Child care volunteers assist our professional child care staff in delivering direct care for the children who stay at the Nursery. Our child care volunteers are energetic, dependable, and flexible, and are ready to make a positive difference in the lives of children.

The Nursery strongly encourages on-site volunteers to be fully vaccinated against covid-19.

Complete the child care volunteer application and provide 3 references.

Participate in an interview.

Complete the required state background check and fingerprinting.

Participate in an orientation session followed by 2 on-site shadowing shifts.

Child Care Volunteers make a commitment to volunteer twice a month, for a minimum of six months. Volunteers commit to working with children of all ages, six years and younger.
